Torrita de Sienna is only 15 mins drive from loads of beautiful hilltop villages and restaurants. But more importantly the Residenza it is the ideal place to come home to after travelling around. The family are welcoming and beautifull and the villa is a stunning home, carefully converted to make private and individual accommodations.

The Art on the walls and in the gardens is very special and there are corners in the gardens to sit and just enjoy being in the countryside. Fab breakfast and lots of recommendations for restaurants, gardens and towns to visit. We stayed 5 nights and were so sad when it was already time to move on.

My boyfriend and I were travelling through the Tuscan wine country and came across this lovely residence. The family is one of the most hospitable that I have encountered in my travels. They were so enthusiastic to help with any and everything that we needed. They gave great directions and recommendations that helped to contribute to our experience in the area. We were planning to only stay one night but we ended up staying two nights and were able to upgrade to a junior suite which was beautiful. The location is central to many vineyards but most of the food locations and small towns are 15 minutes or more away. The breakfast was good and is catered by a local kitchen. The building itself is unique and interesting with a great story (if you have the time, ask the hosts to tell you the history behind the property). Lots of attention to detail and unique art around every corner.

My mother-in-law and I were traveling to Tuscany to attend a cooking class for the week. We stopped here for a night. We loved it here! Gorgeous views, beautiful family and such a unique place to stay. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit. Anna is a very talented artist and her art is all over the grounds! Simply breathtaking!

An oasis of tranquility and hospitality in a wonderful, arty setting from the moment we arrived until we left. Highly recommended. And don't miss the breakfast! Home-made creations in the best of Toscana traditions. We could only spend one night there, but certainly want to go back.

I cannot say enough about this place. My husband and I spent a week of our honeymoon there and all these years later it remains top of our list of all the places we have traveled to. The hotel is on a knoll overlooking the walled city. The rooms was unique built on an Etruscan wall. The artwork was fabulous and the veranda was so beautiful with white linens looking out onto the olive groves and grapes vines.
